Li Hao: I usually use computer programming as a tool to create works in different media such as media architecture, audiovisual performances, videos and installations in an experimental way. Behind the media, I focus on the impact (and the powerlessness) of technology on society, culture, art, etc, as well as the personal experience in the contemporary life. On the one hand, technology is changing our lifestyle, social structure, culture and aesthetic taste. On the other hand, it is drawing us the boundaries of things that are not changed by technology. The contradiction between the two not only constitutes the basic picture of our current life, but also becomes the motif of artistic creation.
