I was born and raised in the Tujia and Miao Minority Region in Hunan province.

Inspired by the contrast and contradiction between my childhood memory of the lush,

mountainous countryside and the concrete jungle where I lives now, my paintings

delve into nostalgia, dreams, sense of alienation and poetry in urban life.
