Huang Jieyuan is the initiator of the ongoing project Image Field, a long-term research project on issues of cyberspace, digital identity, visual authority, media art and energy, which also involves artist curation, internet projects, media experimentation, etc. His work has been exhibited in many national and international art institutions and exhibitions. His writing has been published in conference proceedings by ACM. He holds an MFA in Art in Context from the University of the Arts Berlin, with a research focus on "Media Theory and Practice" and "Artworks in the Context of Scientific and Media Image Production".
