Through scene-constructing and re-photographing, this project explores the physicality of photo prints and the relationship between two dimensional flatness and three dimensional space, and it reflects my thinking around color and composition. I used abstract photographs as materials to construct imaginary spaces. The photographs were printed and taped onto wooden panels and shapes, which were then photographed as tableaux. Largely influenced by artists such as Jan Groover and Barbara Kasten, I pay attention to the balance of and dynamics between each element.
