It is unnecessary to copy due to the accumulation of visual experiences. Wang just abstracts the images and colors as new visual features to foster creation and fixes his own style. When viewing, we can only rely on the remaining image. We can restore or build the history using our own imagination; however, the images which are diluted by that time are irrelevant with the logical relation of time and it depends on the particularity of mechanical reproduction.
