Wang Le: Artwork points out the crisis of consciousness in the post-80s generation, bringing their tendency to question reality to the foreground once again. In Wang Le’s series on youth selection, he uses brightly colored candies to capture the identity crisis of artists belonging to the post-80s generation, those who have lost themselves in the selection of colorful sweets. But people are beginning to rethink the deficiency of this era. This creation vividly emphasizes the intense emotions which cannot be stored away in the movement to a consumer society, the subtle changes to human nature and the frustration of choice.
