Yu Guo records the ceremonial depth of typical scenes from typical Chinese life, from politics and economics to entertainment, which attracts common attention. By removing the key signs of the scene and blurring the human faces within, viewers cannot take it as reality nor keep out of the affair. By listing the works of Yu Guo, we feel the internal continuity among them. The humorous techniques correctly highlights the critical spirit of contemporary art. In modern times, we must adopt "wild" ways to unconsciously observe and analyze the familiar, inspect things within our own sphere, look at them with a positive signicance. (Peng Wei)
