Huang Shuofei: My attitude toward art is not particularly serious. This is not to say that I don't take art seriously or that I don't love it. It's just that I cannot distinguish a clear boundary between my life and my art. From a different perspective, I could also say that art penetrates every facet of my life and gives me the ability for daydreaming and self reflection. I don't yearn for happiness. Instead, I am more obsessed with fantasy and the poetry of life. I am constantly digging deeper, to uncover new meaning and possibilities in life's experience. I'd prefer to believe in the aliens of Roswell because it is just these fantastic experiences that give meaning to life.
