Jiang Yu: My works explore emotion, memory and illusion. They are close to life and the presentation of "fragments". I alternately adopt some surrealism techniques and subjectively collage images that I have contact with, as well as my ideas about pets, kids, urban life, and memories. I use a lot of grey in my works. These works are a way for me to understand society and communicate with it. I always hope to create sincere, warm paintings that record the feelings of my heart and construct an artistic world that belongs to me.
