Li Hao is a stubborn man. He will question things but never completely deny anything. What he says is integrated in what he does and think this is his own style. Maybe he struggles, but he always paints and communicates that singular sense of desperation. He told me once: As an artist, if you find that you are energetically doing a thing that makes you feel a sense of loss, maybe this kind of state is right. I don't know why I think in this way, but when I explore with my own experiences, I find that such emotions define the very state of artistic struggle.（Duan Shaofeng）
