Li Tianqi: Painting is the place where I put all my ideals. I am fortunate enough to express myself visually through my painting, and that is the joy in my life. I express the world I feel through artistic means and make every attempt with enormous curiosity to better understand all the possibilities of art. We live in an ever-changing age, and changes in lifestyles transform who we are. What we do have is the consistency of memory to tell us who we are. These are the issues I explore in my work.
