Liu Xia: I believe that this latest series of works has a unique capacity for narrative, for creating an uncertain world

somewhere between dream and reality. In these works, an uneasiness permeates. If a story cannot be told in one picture, I express it with a series, almost like the frames of a film. The works are unpredictable, breaking with the traditional logic of narrative, but within them are allegories that give us space to reflect on the world around us.
