Luo Qiang: Old photos serve as a witness to the personal life experiences of the past. What better way could there be to trace the memory of a living being? Based on these ideas, I took old pictures as the subject of my work, organizing and presenting them in a way to create a sense of dramatic development. My purpose was to present a world filled with miracles and stories as they were experienced in the past. These are works full of longing to pull from the past a seed of truth for the present.
