Lv Yanxiang: I tried to highlight the individual character by a special group of men or a very individual, but in fact I emphasis on the common character. The performance of this commonality is the whole generation, with the growth background of the collectivism education, has long been standardized and restricted, spirit imprisoned with a single destination and paradigm. The psychological anxiety due to the rapid environment changes, raise a question for everyone: how to pursue hope and survival possibility. I have been trying to get these not - yet - happen element out of my painting, constructing a practicable framework which is independent from the direct vision, let it happen grotesquely and be rationalized, telling a real story of adult people with these delicate feelings. This is not a utopia at all, but the overstep and ideal recombination of actual encounter. It is a statement, reflection, being liberated from the limited ideal of existing knowledge and awareness, establishing a new state of mind.
