Feng Wei: Sometimes I think that both the most wonderful life and the most terrible life may exist only in our imagination.Everyone has different views and attitudes when faced with the same thing. When we see someone with a smile on his face,perhaps his inner heart is suffering from some enormously painful thing. In many cases, people do not want to direc tly express their ideas, as they are ever striving to be a "civ ilized" person. My work records the real and inner part of people, one that is not commonly seen in our daily life or in straightfor ward drawing. It is something that emerges, instead, in the minutest details

that we can imagine when we close our eyes. Seeking the most sincere portrayal, I depict its shape little by little, using image to express what I think.
