An artist Kim Yunjae puts wistfulness for memories forgotten or erased into the work which combines landscape seemingly real with a boy's head. Because the size of the work is so small that the audience should crouch down to see, it is suitable for drawing out childhood memories all the more. The act itself which peers into a tiny landscape of memories of early childhood is intended by the artist. Although it means to reinterpret a traditional landscape with modern techniques, it is the artist's own expression to add yearning and dimness to the landscape which anybody remembers at least once. Considering that human curvature matches up with curves of nature, Kim discloses yearning for an impossible reality by grafting longing and recollection for nature onto a human head or body parts.
