Zeng Xi: From the series of pictures about taking a shower which were produced in 2012, to the recent work painted on mirror-finish stainless steel, I have become interested in bubbles, drops, glass and mist. Firstly, I tried to place the object depicted into an illusory scene. Secondly, I also appreciate seeing the image reflected by the stainless steel mirror and how it can resonate with the image I have created in some way, for the figure in the mirror would be yourself or the potential figure deep in your heart.
