Fu Shuai: I’m crazy for texture because it helps to form illusions that can depict false realities. My works are trying to create false spaces, exploring the relationship between the mentally reality and false physical objects. Not only do I bring a rational attitude, but also an exploration in psychology. This picture’s space depicts the loneliness of people in today’s society. This is the advantage of painting, in that it allows us to see our own thoughts more clearly.
