Hu Weiqi: I choose two contrasting colors to highlight contradictions in reality as well as a sense of nervousness and absurdity. Through this visible conflict between colors, absurd scenes emerge, leading one to ponder unseen reality. The logic behind the occurrence of specific phenomena in life is invisible and impossible to predict. As Gustave Le Bon said when speaking about the mob, "we thought we were rational, we believe that every move is justified. But the truth is that most of us in our daily actions are themselves unable to understand the consequences of hidden motives.”
