Huang Muyun's paintings attempt to catch the whole image of things. In her paintings, details of landscape are indistinct but immersed in a rich atmosphere. Some of these images appear like a deep jungle, some like a mountain with cloudy and enshrouding mist and some like gorgeous sea of flowers… The rhythm is gentle, revealing the artist's relaxed of mind, as she watches the clouds form and dissipate. Certainly, some illicit, fantastical thoughts of the type only female artists can have are flowing in this seemingly unexcited mind. -Hu Bin (Professor of GAFA)
