Different from thematic panting, the interests reflected in Wang Bo's panting are quiet fragmented. He intentionally intensifies the feeling of fragmentation, quickly creating small doodled images within tiny frames. Inferred from the large amount of fragmented pictures, the artist's method is similar to that of a painting hunter. He sensitizes himself to the visual jungle to seize the images that have touched him, or to translate his feelings onto the canvas. During this process, his visual perception is strengthened, and his bodily instinct and the action of doodling become intertwined. The instinctive conscience and thoughts can be expressed so fluidly that the doodling becomes habitual. The artist is thus both more sensitive to him and the outside world and is able to translate his feelings into visual images more readily. -Du Xiyun (Curator, Art Critic)
