Wang Haibo: In the field of visual expression as seen now in contemporary art, an innovative vision is the key tool for those wishing to advance. Through breaking down and re-arranging visual space, concrete subject matter's original meaning has been lost. Physical space, while retaining its original significance after being interpreted and then depicted by the artist, also allows a myriad of new meanings to flow forth as the thoughts of the artist are allowed to shape it. A concrete subject that could be viewed objectively by the whole world is transformed into a highly personalized image that makes a strong visual impact.
