Choi Bohee: I truly enjoy finding something interesting in everyday life. My thoughts and emotions that arise from my imagination and observation of my surroundings and ordinary objects I encounter are depicted in my work. I employ a combination of many different kinds of materials and objects, such as combining different photos, a drawing with a video, or a video with an object. Thus I create a new visual effect and a very strong contrast, through which I want to depict reality and fiction, clarity and blurriness, past and present. Also, I bring the two-dimensional world of photography into three-dimensional place. The three dimensional place is special as it is made up of layered two-dimensional images. I reconstruct different three-dimensional spaces by reassembling photographs.

My works are designed for a certain type of viewer. Through my small and secret works, one can experience my imaginary world.
