Jang Wonyoung: I look down on the city from a place high above. No touch of humanity is found in the city: only the ebb and flow of capital is visible as the economic engine turns; overwhelming scale makes things disappear; and flashing neon signs making everything in the dark seem even darker.

I look again at the cold-hearted city for a while. A myriad of lights glimmer before my eyes, growing bigger and then smaller, or sometimes moving endlessly yet I know not where they go. We think for such a long time, looking at the seemingly breathing city. By looking at the city for a while, it begins to look different. Each different small light in the enormous city is a person. Laughing and crying everyday, we become infinitely small, feel happy, and move incessantly. The lives of those living in this age and lives of those filling the space breathe in this constantly evolving space.

As I point at and see a light, it becomes me. As I point at and see two lights, they become the two of us.

A city is full of warmth harmoniously engendered by its stationary space and the numerous lives breathing within in. I look at, remember, and depict all those filling this space and living there now.
