CAI JianChao & SU Bei: The small substance or energies of daily living is the object of our

attention. From the materialistic perspective, these small substance, situated in the edge ofconscious perception, are totally pure without any symbolic significance. In our work, we

are always searching the order and the law of things, which turn out to be an unique

leading role through paraphrasing and re-narrating the potential informations from them.

Moreover, we highlight the reunion between the people and substances instead of simply

representation of substances themselves. While people rencounter substances, the

personal unconscious immediately triggers a certain collective unconscious and the

spiritual dimension beyond the material world.
