2009 Graduated from Oil Painting Department of the Sichuan Institute of Technology, Academy of Fine Arts with a bachelor's degree

2012 Graduated from from Oil Painting Department of the College of Art of Southwest University with a master´s degree

Currently studies at the College of Art of Shanghai University for a doctor’s degree

Geng Defa: the main expression of the works on the survival, freedom and bondage of the games. Placed in the sky like context, fry in free swimming or jumping, implied in the kingfisher everywhere in opportunistic action or have been preying. A scattered network and want to become the Kingfisher in the cage net. It reflects the fry in the bottom of the food chain, in a relatively free hand, implies a crisis of survival. Youth is a social concern groups, like small fish or shrimp, in the social context exist survival pressure, looking for the sense of presence. Like fish, small fish eat small shrimp, small shrimp eat planktonic animal. In this food chain is only the "run", it seems to be the survival of the road.
