Hanqing’s works convey calmness beyond reality and age. Hard-edged and restrained, he depicts the compactness and paranoia of sections and segments, so that we could see the apathy of materialism in the era of a modern industrial society. Moreover, ink gradations on the Yunlong Rice Paper and its texture lead us to an untouchable world.
