Akiko Hashimoto: Even if it is always a fiction that a painting shows,it can be a part of this world, because it is seen simply there. By the way, we live in the real world without confirming whether the things we see really exist there.The sight we see unconsciously exists there simply as a fiction that we cannot take.Through making, setting and seeing a painting, I would like to measure a crossing point of the fact and the fiction,and contemplate about an overlap between the view and the world.
