Peng Lu: I hope to through my work find an ideal way to depict the things that I choose not to explicitly say or write.  My works have no specific images or forms, and I try to also remove emotion from them, leaving a description of the environment more to express a certain state. Although there is no specific image or expression of mood, I have chosen to retain the subject’s gender and body language. What I want to express is my own deep inner self and my response to the surrounding environment. Though it may only be my personal point of view, I think many of viewers in the real world will find resonance in my experience and in my work.
