The first series of painting Where do I go to was about the state I had when coming to Songzhuang for the first time. I didn't know where my road was, and what to paint, with great confusion in such a large city. Therefore, I began to paint a young man who lost his way in the city and always appeared at the crossroad. Occasionally,  there was an ideal "deer" around him, but in fact it led to nowhere. The Series of Midnight is about my state of the second year in Songzhuang. The studio had been found, which changed my perspective to the interior. In so many nights, I lost my sleep, watching the clock at midnight which gave birth to a lot of magnificent space. As a result, I started to paint these strange nights, which recorded the story of late night for me.
