My work –– “Courtyard”, showcasing a kind of life attitude or artistic conception which is different from current values, depicts a place for the soul to live in and the small, unreal world that actually belongs to the audience and me. When the real world is presented to the audience without any change through artwork, the imaginary space brought to the audience is limited. Adopting several elements about the reality in the yard of my work aims to reduce the influence of the time and background and repose my temperament and interest through ambiguous traditional elements. It is hoped that my painting can arouse the audience’s imaginations when they appreciate the work; and they can even try their hands at sculpting if they want to take part in an immersive decoration experience.
