I’m trying to present the relationship between objects and time. Each object has its own natural quality, but they will be continuously given new content and meaning with the passage of time. My paintings focus on daily things, which I am really interested in, such as a certain landscape, place, or person. I describe something that has happened, something that is happening, or something that will happen in the future in my work. For me, painting allows us to record things and predict things, as well as depict the passage of time.
