Being aware of so many delicate feelings I have never sensed before, I could, at the current stage, feel more about the surge of emotions, the unknown inner dreams as well as the post-adolescent identity anxiety. Therefore, I have learnt to be alone, and become closer to my true self by introspecting and reflecting in the moments of solitude and putting more emphasis on intuition and inspiration. Aesthetic appreciation is a very personal thing. And art is never about ‘beauty’ alone. In fact, the act of defining beauty and ugliness itself has already deviated from the original intention of pursuing beauty. So here, I would like to present my very own aesthetic sense to you and hopefully, it can resonate with you and provoke your thinking at the same time.In terms of creation materials, I used etchings and mixed materials media for my work. And with handmade articles as the basis, I could better convey my ideas of fragility, nature, poignancy as well as perishing.
