I have always been trying to probe the relations between time, memory and light since 2011 up to the present. As for me, the transitory memory is both beautiful and melancholic. When we get one part of memory, we lose another part. People will never memorize all the moments. Memory, as the vessel of time,vanishes as it stores. In my recent works, I used lots of luminescent materials to present my understanding towards memory and time. Luminescent materials, naturally, will give off light in darkness when we lighten then with UV light. This visual experience is very much like the physical ebbs and flows of memory, a process of recollection and memory loss.
