Art Nova 100 continues to cultivate a diverse community and resources for artists, curators, academics and collectors, while also providing a high-end art platform that helps young artists achieve their dreams. The 2013 Art Nova 100 has also significantly expanded its scope from the previous year. For the first time, young artists from Hong Kong and Macao were included in the selection process, and five young artists from Hong Kong and two from Macao will participate in this year's exhibitions. In addition, 10 video artists from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan will show their works in the special exhibition, "ASIA! Creative! - Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan Youth Video Art Exhibition”. This year, 10 young artists from Korea have also been invited to participate in "Korean Inspiration - Korea Contemporary Young Artists Exhibition" as a part of Art Nova 100 tour exhibition, representing fresh trends in Korean contemporary art. Finally, Art Nova 100 will hold a new series of art education seminars and related activities, sharing insights and helping audiences better appreciate the concepts and aesthetics of these forward-thinking young artists.

While the 2013 Art Nova 100 continues to improve its domestic exhibition platform, it is also growing its presence overseas, bringing outstanding young artists to new international audiences. The 2013 Art Nova 100 will coordinate tour exhibitions, theme exhibitions, solo exhibitions, academic publications, artist promotion, cross-border cooperation, and international promotion into a fully integrated platform for young artists.

Young artists are our future. A pluralistic, active ecosystem for cultivating young talents serves an important purpose in furthering the development of art. With this in mind, Art Nova 100 has from the beginning made the healthy creativity of young artists the project' s core focus.
