Born in Chongqing in 1963, graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 1985, won the master's degree and began teaching at the Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 1988. Director of the Chinese Artists Association, director of the China Oil Painting Association, deputy director of the Oil Painting Arts Committee of the Chinese Artists Association, chairman of the Chongqing Artists Association, president of the Chongqing Art Gallery and executive curator of the Chongqing Art Gallery.
